The challenge
CaseMind started as a tool built with and for a practising law firm in Kosovo. Lawyers needed appeal deadlines they could trust and less time on admin, in Albanian.
What we built
- Appeal deadlines calculated from the case type and decision date, with email and in-app reminders
- AI that reads court documents and suggests case details, each with its source quote, saved only after a lawyer confirms
- Cases, clients, tasks, calendar and time tracking in one workspace per firm
- Invoices with 18% VAT as PDFs in each firm's own design, in Albanian or English
- Field-level encryption, a security log, and roles for partners, lawyers and interns
Results
- In early access with law firms in Kosovo
- The first firm moved its records over from the product's earlier version
